A team of 8 cyclists will be undertaking the challenge from 29th June to 3rd July 2008. All have close links to Fraser who died at the age of 2˝ in October 2007. He and his family were supported by CHASE throughout his short life, and particularly in his final week.
Race for CHASE is a 5 day bicycle ride from Lands End on the South coast of Cornwall to John O’Groats on the North coast of Scotland. Doing this ride in 5 days means an average daily mileage by the team of 180 miles. The whole team will complete the entire distance of the course (i.e. it is not a relay!)
CHASE hospice care for children exists to support families with life-limited children - that is, children or young people who are not expected to reach the age of 19 because of illnesses that are incurable.
